Some years ago, I wrote about a Florida beach experience I had had, but I’ve never told the story. In my own voice. If you want to hear it, keep an eye on the images on this page and click the play button below to listen:

I was captivated by your poetic account Harold, and by the pictures you so bravely took. And as a resident of Florida for 30 years, thank you for reminding me of what has always been fascinating about this place but have paid too little attention to lately. And btw, your voice sounded great!
Harald says
Thank you, Dolores!

What a lyrical duet of words and photographs, Harald. Having taken your written word and elevating it to the spoken word, with your own voice, is very clever!
You read aloud well. If I may say, as both a writer, and a former stage actor, for you to be cognizant of speaking in the same rhythm throughout. When the story comes to its’ climax, in particular, it’s intensity may be better felt by the listener, if read more distinctly and ever so more slowly. The difference ought to be imperceptible by the listener, but it will raise their emotion.
(Just saying 🙂 (With thanks to Dr. Matson, chair Theater Dept.)

Thanks for listening, Barbara, and for the experience-based advice. I will be keeping it in mind!
